Plant Care

Light Requirements: Bright, indirect light. Avoid strong direct afternoon sun, which can scorch the leaves.

Water Requirements: Keep the central cup filled with water, using filtered, rain, or distilled water when possible. Flush and replace the water every 1-2 weeks. Keep the potting mix lightly moist but never soggy.

Fertilizer: Feed with a diluted, balanced bromeliad fertilizer about once a month during the growing season. Avoid over-fertilizing.

Soil: Use a very well-draining, airy mix such as orchid bark, perlite, and peat/coco coir. Bromeliads don't like heavy, compact soil.

Temperature: Prefers 65-80 degrees. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below about 50 degrees.
