Plant Care
Light Requirements: Tolerates low light but grows best in bright, indirect light. It can handle some direct sunlight once acclimated.
Water Requirements: Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain completely. When in doubt, it is safer to underwater than overwater.
Fertilizer: Feed with a diluted balanced houseplant or succulent fertilizer every 1–2 months during spring and summer. Little to no fertilizer is needed during fall and winter.
Soil: Use a fast-draining cactus or succulent mix. Good drainage is essential to prevent root rot.
Temperature: Prefers temperatures around 60–85°F. Protect from frost, cold drafts, and prolonged temperatures below about 50°F.
Pet Safety: Toxic to cats and dogs if ingested.
Humidity: Average household humidity is suitable. High humidity is not necessary.
Growth Habit: A compact, upright Snake Plant with broad, stiff leaves and attractive yellow-edged variegation.
