Plant Care

Light Requirements: Provide bright light with several hours of gentle direct morning sunlight or bright indirect light throughout the day. Protect colorful grafted tops from intense afternoon sun to help prevent scorching.

Water Requirements: Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. Water thoroughly once the soil is dry, then allow excess water to drain completely. Avoid frequent watering or allowing the arrangement to sit in standing water.

Fertilizer: Feed with a diluted cactus or succulent fertilizer once a month during spring and summer. Reduce or stop fertilizing during fall and winter.

Soil: Use a fast-draining cactus or succulent soil mix. Excellent drainage is essential to help prevent root rot.

Temperature: Prefers temperatures around 65–85°F. Protect from frost, freezing temperatures, and cold drafts.

Pet Safety: Pet safety varies depending on the specific cacti and succulents included. The main concern with cacti is their spines, which can cause injury if touched or chewed. Keep the arrangement away from pets and children.

Humidity: Average household humidity is generally suitable. Avoid excessive humidity and provide good airflow around the plants.

Growth Habit: A decorative arrangement featuring grafted cacti and other compact desert plants. The colorful grafted tops typically remain small and rounded, while accompanying plants may grow upright, clustered, or outward as they mature.

Important: Because each garden may contain different cactus and succulent varieties, the exact appearance and care needs can vary slightly. Always allow the soil to dry between waterings and provide plenty of light.
