Plant Care
Light Requirements: Bright, indirect light is best. It can tolerate medium light, but the leaves may become less dark and growth will slow. A little gentle morning/evening direct sun is okay.
Water Requirements: Water when the top 1-2 inches are dry. Water thoroughly until it drains from the bottom, then empty the saucer. Avoid keeping the soil constantly wet.
Fertilizer: Feed about once a month during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer diluted to 1/2 strength. Reduce or stop fertilizing in winter.
Soil: Use a well-draining chunky houseplant mix. A combination of potting soil, perlite, and orchid bark works well. Good drainage is especially important to prevent root rot.
Temperature: Prefers 65-85 degrees. Protects from cold drafts, heating/ AC vents, and temperatures below about 55 degrees.
Pet Safety: Toxic
