Plant Care
Light Requirements: Best in bright, indirect light is best. Can tolerate lower light, but growth will be slower and colors may fade. Avoid harsh direct afternoon sun, which can scorch the leaves.
Water Requirements: Let the top 1-2 inches of soil dry out before watering. Water thoroughly until it drains from the bottom, then empty the saucer. Dracaenas are sensitive to overwatering.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer diluted to 1/2 strength about once a month during spring and summer. Little to no fertilizer is needed in winter.
Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix. A standard houseplant mix amended with amended with perlite works well. Avoid heavy, water retaining soil.
Temperature: Ideal range is 65-80 degrees. Keep away from cold drafts, heating vents, and temperatures below 55 degrees.
