Plant Care

Light Requirements: Bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some gentle morning/evening sun, but avoid harsh direct afternoon sun, which can scorch the fronds.

Water Requirements: Keep the soil consistently moist, but not soggy. Water when the surface just begins to dry. tree ferns appreciate higher humidity. Avoid letting the root ball completely dry out.

Fertilizer: Feed during active growth with a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer about once a month. Avoid heavy fertilizing, especially during winter.

Soil: Use a rich, organic, well-draining mix that retains moisture. A mix of coco coir/peat, compost or other organic material, and perlite/bark works well.

Temperature: Prefers 65-80 degrees. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below about 50 degrees.
