Plant Care
Light Requirements: Bright, indirect light is best. It can tolerate lower light, but growth may be slower. Avoid harsh direct afternoon sun, which can scorch the fronds.
Water Requirements: Keep the soil consistently lightly moist, but never soggy. Water when the top 1 inch of soil begins to dry. Don't allow it to sit in standing water.
Fertilizer: Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced, diluted houseplant fertilizer. Reduce or stop feeding during fall and winter.
Soil: Use a loose, well-draining, organic-rich soil. A mix containing peat/coco coir, perlite, and orchid bark works well.
Temperature: Prefers 65-85 degrees. Protects from cold drafts, frost, and temperatures below about 55 degrees.
Pet Safety: Pet safe!
