Plant Care
Light Requirements: Provide bright, indirect light. Strong direct sunlight can scorch the foliage, especially highly variegated leaves.
Water Requirements: Keep the soil lightly and consistently moist, allowing the top 1–2 inches to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid soggy soil and standing water.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced houseplant fertilizer every 2–4 weeks during active growth. Reduce feeding during fall and winter.
Soil: Use a chunky, airy, well-draining aroid mix containing potting soil, orchid bark, and perlite.
Temperature: Prefers warm temperatures around 65–85°F. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below about 60°F.
Pet Safety: Toxic to cats and dogs if ingested.
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity. Consistent humidity helps support healthy foliage.
Growth Habit: An upright, clumping Alocasia with broad, heart-shaped foliage and highly variable cream-and-green marbled variegation.
