Soil: Use a fast-draining cactus or succulent mix.
Temperature: Prefers warm temperatures around 65–85°F. Protect from temperatures below about 50°F and never allow the plant to freeze.
Pet Safety: Toxic to cats and dogs if ingested.
Humidity: Average household humidity is generally suitable. Avoid constantly humid or wet conditions.
Growth Habit: A striking succulent shrub with a swollen, water storing caudex and branching stems. It produces showy flowers during warm, bright growing conditions.
