Plant Care
Light Requirements: Provide bright, filtered or indirect light. Avoid prolonged harsh direct sunlight.
Water Requirements: Keep the growing medium lightly moist during active growth, allowing some drying between waterings. Avoid keeping the roots constantly saturated.
Fertilizer: Feed with a diluted orchid fertilizer every 2–4 weeks during active growth. Reduce feeding during slower periods.
Soil: Use a coarse, well-draining orchid mix such as bark and other airy materials. Provide a sturdy support for the climbing vine.
Temperature: Prefers warm temperatures around 70–85°F during active growth. Protect from cold temperatures and freezing conditions.
Pet Safety: Non-Toxic to pets.
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity with good airflow.
Growth Habit: A vigorous tropical climbing orchid with thick, succulent-like stems and fleshy green leaves. Mature vines can become very long and may produce fragrant flowers and vanilla pods when successfully pollinated.
