Plant Care
Light Requirements: Bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. It can tolerate lower light, but growth will be slower.
Water Requirements: Can grow in water or soil. For water-grown plants, keep the roots submerged in filtered, distilled, or dechlorinated water. Change the water every 1-2 weeks. For soil, water when the top 1-2 inches feels dry.
Fertilizer: Light feeder. Use a diluted, balanced houseplant fertilizer about every 2-3 months during active growth. Too much fertilizer can burn the roots.
Soil: If planted in soil, use a loose, well-draining houseplant mix. A mix containing peat/coco coir and perlite works well.
Temperature: Prefers 65-80 degrees. Keep away from cold drafts, heaters, and air-conditioning vents. Avoid temperatures below 55 degrees.
Pet Safety: Toxic
