Light Requirements: Provide bright, indirect or filtered light. Avoid intense direct sunlight.

Water Requirements: Keep the central cup filled with fresh water and refresh it regularly. Keep the potting mix lightly moist but well drained.

Fertilizer: Feed lightly with a diluted bromeliad fertilizer during spring and summer. Avoid concentrated fertilizer in the center cup.

Soil: Use a light, porous bromeliad or orchid style mix.

Temperature: Prefers temperatures around 65–80°F. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below about 50–60°F.

Pet Safety: Non-Toxic to cats and dogs.

Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity and good airflow.

Growth Habit: An upright, rosette-forming bromeliad with green strap-like leaves and a bright red floral bract.
