Plant Care
Light Requirements: Provide bright, filtered or indirect light. Brighter light encourages stronger coloring, but avoid prolonged harsh afternoon sun.
Water Requirements: Soak thoroughly about once a week, then shake out excess water and allow the plant to dry completely before returning it to its display.
Fertilizer: Feed with a diluted air-plant or bromeliad fertilizer once a month during active growth.
Soil: No soil is needed. Display on a breathable mount or in an open container with good airflow.
Temperature: Prefers temperatures around 55–85°F. Protect from frost and freezing temperatures.
Pet Safety: Generally considered Non-Toxic to pets.
Humidity: Moderate humidity is beneficial, but good airflow is essential.
Growth Habit: A rosette-forming air plant with pale green to silvery foliage that can develop peach or reddish coloring as it prepares to bloom.
