Plant Care
Light Requirements: Bright, indirect light is ideal. It tolerates medium light but grows slower. Avoid prolonged direct afternoon sun, which can scorch the leaves.
Water Requirements: Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil feels dry. Water throroughly, then let excess water drain. Reduce watering in winter.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid houseplant fertiziler at half strength once a month during spring and summer. No fertilizer is usually needed in winter.
Soil: Use a well draining, airy potting mix, such as regular indoor potting soil paired with perlite, orchid bark, or coco coir. The soil should stay lightly most but never soggy.
Temperature: Prefers 65-85 degrees. Keep away from cold drafts and temperatures below 60 degrees.
Pet Safety: Toxic
