Plant Care
Light Requirements: Bright, indirect light is best. It can handle some direct morning or late afternoon sun, but harsh midday sun can scorch leaves. Low light causes stretched, thin growth.
Water Requirements: Let soil dry out completely between waterings. Water deeply, then drain excess. Overwatering is the most common problem and can cause root rot. Usually every 1-3 weeks depending on light, temperature, and season.
Fertilizer: Feed lightly during spring and summer (active growth). Use a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to 1/2 strength about once a month. Avoid fertilizing in winter.
Soil: Needs fast-draining succulent/cactus soil. A mix with extra perlite, pumice, or coarse sand helps prevent soggy roots. use a pot with drainage holes.
Temperature: Prefers 60-80 degrees. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 50 degrees.
Pet Safety: Toxic
