Light Requirements: Bright, indirect light is best. It can tolerate lower light, but growth may be slower and variegation less pronounced. Avoid strong, direct afternoon sun, which can scorch the leaves.

Water Requirements: Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil feels dry. Keep the soil lightly moist but never soggy. Reduce watering somewhat in winter.

Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced houseplant fertilizer diluted to 1/2 strength about once a month during spring and summer. Little to no fertilizer is needed in winter.

Soil: Use a well-draining , all purpose houseplant potting mix. Adding perlite can improve drainage.

Temperature: Prefers 65-80 degrees. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below about 50 degrees.
