Plant Care
Light Requirements: Provide full sun to bright light. Partial shade is tolerated, but stronger light helps maintain compact growth and coloration.
Water Requirements: Allow the soil to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain completely. Reduce watering during winter.
Fertilizer: Feed lightly with a diluted succulent fertilizer once a month during active growth.
Soil: Use a well-draining, gritty cactus or succulent mix.
Temperature: Prefers temperatures around 50–80°F. Protect from excessive winter moisture and severe freezing.
Pet Safety: May cause mild stomach upset if eaten. Keep away from pets that chew plants.
Humidity: Average household humidity is suitable. Avoid excessive humidity.
Growth Habit: A low-growing, spreading succulent with rounded blue green leaves arranged in whorls along arching stems. Small pink star shaped flowers appear in late summer or fall.
