Plant Care
Light Requirements: Bright light to full sun (4-8+ hours daily). Indoors, place near a sunny south or west facing window.
Water Requirements: Water deeply, then allow the soil to dry out completely before watering again. typically every 2-4 weeks indoors, more often during active growth and less in winter.
Fertilizer: Feed lightly with a diluted cactus/succulent fertilizer once or twice during spring and summer. No fertilizer is needed in winter.
Soil: Use a fast draining cactus/succulent mix or sandy, gritty soil with excellent drainage. pots should have drainage holes.
Temperature: 60-80 degrees is best. Many outdoor sedum varieties tolerate freezing temperatures, while some tender varieties should be protected from frost.
Pet Safety: many hardy sedum species are generally considered non-toxic however, some sedums can cause mild stomach upset if eaten.
