Plant Care
Light Requirements: Bright, indirect light is best. It can tolerate medium light, but growth will be slower. Avoid harsh direct afternoon sun, which can scorch leaves.
Water Requirements: Let the top 1-2 inches of soil dry out before watering again. Peperomia stores water in its thick leaves, so it prefers slightly dry conditions over soggy soil. Water less in winter.
Fertilizer: Feed during spring and summer about once a month with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer diluted to half strength. Avoid fertilizing in the winter.
Soil: Use a well-draining mix: houseplant potting soil + perlite + orchid bark (or another chunky material). Peperomia doesn't like heavy, water-retaining soil.
Temperature: Ideal range is 65-8- degrees/ keep away from cold drafts, heaters, and sudden temperature changes. Avoid temperatures below 50 degrees.
Pet Safety: Pet Safe!
