Plant Care
Light Requirements: Low to bright indirect light. It tolerates low light well, but grows faster with filtered bright light. Avoid strong direct sun, which can burn the leaves.
Water Requirements: Keep the soil moist but not soggy. Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil feels dry. Reduce watering in winter. Avoid letting it sit in standing water.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer about once every 4-6 weeks in spring and summer. Do not fertilize much in winter.
Soil: Use a well-draining indoor potting mix. A mix with peat/coco coir plus perlite works well. Soil should hold some moisture but drain quickly.
Temperature: Keep between 65-80 degrees and protect from cold drafts, heaters, and temperatures below about 50 degrees.
Pet Safety: Pet Safe!
