Plant Care
Light Requirements: Bright, indirect light is ideal. It tolerates medium light but grows slower. Avoid prolonged directed afternoon sun, which can scorch the leaves.
Water Requirements: Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil feels dry. Water thoroughly until excess drains out, then empty the saucer. Avoid letting the soil stay soggy.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer diluted to half strength once a month during spring and summer. Don't fertilize much in fall and winter.
Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix, such as regular indoor potting soil mixed with perlite or sand. A pot with drainage holes is important.
Temperature: Keep between 65-80 degrees. Keep away from cold drafts and temperatures below 50 degrees.
Pet Safety: Pet Safe!
