Plant Care
Light Requirements: Bright light with 4-6+ hours of direct sunlight daily. A south or west facing window is ideal indoors. Without enough light, it becomes stretched (leggy).
Water Requirements: Water deeply only when the soil is completely dry. In summer, this is often every 1-2 weeks; in winter, every 3-4 weeks or less. Avoid leaving water sitting in the saucer.
Fertilizer: Feed lightly during spring and summer with a diluted cactus/succulent fertilizer (about 1/4-1/2 strength) once every 4-8 weeks. No fertilizer is needed in winter.
Soil: Use a fast-draining cactus or succulent mix. Adding pumice, perlite, or coarse sand improves drainage and helps prevent root rot.
Temperature: Best between 65-80 degrees. Protect from frost. Most echeverias are damaged below 40 degrees.
Pet Safety: Pet safe!
