Plant Care
Light Requirements: Provide bright, indirect or filtered light. Avoid harsh midday sunlight.
Water Requirements: Water thoroughly when the growing medium begins to dry, then allow excess water to drain. Mounted orchids may need more frequent watering than potted orchids.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced orchid fertilizer regularly during active growth according to product directions. Reduce feeding when growth slows.
Soil: Do not use regular potting soil. Use an airy orchid medium such as bark, or maintain the plant on its mount.
Temperature: Most warm-growing Dendrobiums prefer approximately 65–85°F during the day with slightly cooler nights.
Pet Safety: Non-Toxic to cats and dogs.
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity with good air circulation.
Growth Habit: An epiphytic orchid that produces upright or arching canes and colorful flowers from the stems. Mounted plants create a natural, decorative display.
