Plant Care
Light Requirements: Provide bright light with several hours of direct or filtered sunlight each day. Strong light encourages compact growth and colorful leaf tips.
Water Requirements: Allow the soil to dry between deep waterings. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain completely.
Fertilizer: Feed with a diluted succulent fertilizer every 1–2 months during spring and summer. Reduce feeding during winter.
Soil: Use a fast-draining cactus or succulent mix.
Temperature: Prefers temperatures around 60–80°F. Protect from frost and prolonged cold.
Pet Safety: Toxic to cats and dogs if ingested.
Humidity: Average household humidity is suitable. High humidity is not necessary.
Growth Habit: A slow-growing, branching succulent with thick stems and distinctive tubular leaves that curl inward. It can eventually develop a small tree like form.
