Plant Care
Light Requirements: Bright, indirect light to several hours of direct sunlight (4-6 hours is ideal). A sunny south or west facing window works well.
Water Requirements: Water thoroughly only when soil is completely dry. Reduce watering significantly in winter. Overwatering is the most common cause of problems.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength once a month during spring and summer. Do not fertilize in winter.
Soil: Use a fast draining cactus or succulent mix, or a potting mix paired with perlite or coarse sand. A pot with drainage holes is essential.
Temperature: Does best with 65-75 degrees. It tolerates cooler temperatures down to about 50 degrees but should be protected from frost.
Pet Safety: Toxic
