Plant Care
Light Requirements: Provide bright light with some gentle direct morning sunlight. Good light encourages compact growth and flowering.
Water Requirements: Soak for about 15–20 minutes once every 7–10 days, then shake out excess water and allow the plant to dry completely before returning it to its display.
Fertilizer: Feed with a diluted air-plant or bromeliad fertilizer once a month during active growth.
Soil: No soil is needed. Mount or display the plant in a way that allows air to circulate around the stems.
Temperature: Prefers temperatures around 55–85°F. Protect from frost and freezing temperatures.
Pet Safety: Generally considered Non-Toxic to pets.
Humidity: Moderate humidity is suitable, but strong airflow is especially important.
Growth Habit: A distinctive stem-forming air plant with narrow, pine-needle-like leaves. It branches readily and can eventually form long, cascading or hanging clumps.
