Plant Care

Light Requirements: Prefers low to medium, bright indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

Water Requirements: Lucky Bamboo can be grown in water or soil. For water-grown plants, keep the roots submerged and refresh the water regularly. For soil-grown plants, keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy.

Fertilizer: Use a very weak liquid fertilizer occasionally. Water-grown plants generally need only a small amount of fertilizer every 1–2 months.

Soil: When grown in soil, use a well-draining houseplant mix that stays lightly moist.

Temperature: Prefers temperatures around 60–80°F. Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.

Pet Safety: Toxic to cats and dogs if ingested.

Humidity: Average household humidity is suitable, although moderate humidity can help prevent brown leaf tips.

Growth Habit: A slow-growing, upright plant with bamboo-like stems that can be trained into attractive decorative shapes.
