Plant Care
Light Requirements: Provide bright, indirect to filtered light indoors. Several hours of gentle sunlight can be beneficial, but protect the palm from intense afternoon sun.
Water Requirements: Keep the soil moderately moist but well drained. Water when the surface begins to dry and allow excess water to drain completely.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced palm fertilizer during spring and summer according to product directions. Reduce feeding during fall and winter.
Soil: Use a well-draining palm or houseplant potting mix.
Temperature: Prefers warm temperatures around 65–85°F. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below about 50°F.
Pet Safety: Non-Toxic to cats and dogs.
Humidity: Appreciates moderate humidity but can adapt to typical indoor conditions.
Growth Habit: A graceful, slow-growing palm with a slender trunk and soft, arching feather-like fronds. It can be grown as a single specimen or in multi palm groupings.
