5-4-3-2” refers to the grouping of four canes at different heights rather than a separate cultivar.
Plant Care
Light Requirements: Prefers bright light and can tolerate several hours of direct sunlight once acclimated. A bright south- or west-facing window works well.
Water Requirements: Allow the soil to dry significantly between waterings. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain completely. Avoid overwatering.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced houseplant or succulent fertilizer during spring and summer. Reduce feeding during fall and winter.
Soil: Use a fast-draining succulent or cactus-style potting mix.
Temperature: Prefers temperatures around 65–85°F. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below about 50°F.
Pet Safety: Toxic to cats and dogs if ingested.
Humidity: Average household humidity is generally suitable. High humidity is not necessary.
Growth Habit: An upright, woody-stemmed plant with rosettes of stiff, sword-shaped leaves. The multi-cane arrangement creates a tiered indoor tree effect.
