Plant Care
Light Requirements: Provide bright, indirect light to help maintain its colorful variegation. Avoid strong direct afternoon sun.
Water Requirements: Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry before watering. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain completely.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced houseplant fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer. Reduce feeding during fall and winter.
Soil: Use a well-draining houseplant potting mix with good airflow around the roots.
Temperature: Prefers temperatures around 65–80°F. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below about 50°F.
Pet Safety: Toxic to cats and dogs if ingested.
Humidity: Average household humidity is suitable. Moderate humidity can help prevent brown leaf tips.
Growth Habit: A woody, upright Dracaena with branching stems and narrow green leaves bordered by bright yellow or cream.
