Plant Care
Light Requirements: Provide bright, indirect or filtered light. Some gentle morning sunlight is fine, but protect the large leaves from intense afternoon sun.
Water Requirements: Keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top 1–2 inches begin to dry slightly and allow excess water to drain.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced houseplant fertilizer every 2–4 weeks during active growth in spring and summer. Reduce feeding during fall and winter.
Soil: Use a rich, moisture-retentive but well-draining aroid mix.
Temperature: Prefers warm temperatures around 65–85°F. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below about 60°F.
Pet Safety: Toxic to cats and dogs if ingested.
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity and performs best when the air is not excessively dry.\
Growth Habit: A large, upright tropical plant with dramatic arrow-shaped leaves. Mature plants can become substantial statement plants.
