Plant Care
Light Requirements: Provide bright, indirect light. Several hours of gentle morning sunlight can be beneficial, but avoid harsh direct afternoon sun.
Water Requirements: Allow the top 2–3 inches of soil to dry before watering. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain completely. Avoid constantly wet soil.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced houseplant fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer. Reduce feeding during fall and winter.
Soil: Use a chunky, well-draining aroid mix containing potting soil, orchid bark, and perlite.
Temperature: Prefers temperatures around 65–85°F. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below about 50°F.
Pet Safety: Toxic to cats and dogs if ingested.
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity. Consistent humidity can support healthy new leaves and growth.
Growth Habit: A climbing tropical plant with large heart-shaped leaves that develop natural splits and holes as they mature. Its cream-and-green variegation makes each leaf unique.
