Plant Care
Light Requirements: Provide bright, indirect or filtered light. Brighter light encourages larger, more deeply divided leaves. Avoid harsh direct sunlight.
Water Requirements: Keep the soil moderately moist but well drained. Allow the top layer of soil to dry slightly before watering again.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced houseplant fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer. Reduce feeding during fall and winter.
Soil: Use a rich, well-draining houseplant or aroid mix with good organic matter.
Temperature: Prefers temperatures around 65–80°F. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below about 60°F.
Pet Safety: Toxic to cats and dogs if ingested.
Humidity: Appreciates moderate humidity and benefits from higher humidity in very dry indoor environments.
Growth Habit: An upright, self-heading tropical plant with large, glossy, deeply lobed leaves. It grows outward into a broad, full shape rather than forming long trailing vines.
