Plant Care
Light Requirements: Prefers bright, indirect to moderate filtered light and can tolerate lower-light areas. Avoid strong, direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
Water Requirements: Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry before watering. Water thoroughly, then allow excess water to drain completely. Avoid keeping the soil constantly soggy.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced houseplant fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer. Reduce feeding during fall and winter.
Soil: Use a well-draining, all-purpose houseplant potting mix. Good drainage helps prevent root problems caused by excess moisture.
Temperature: Prefers temperatures around 65–80°F. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below about 50°F.
Pet Safety: Toxic to cats and dogs if ingested. Dracaenas contain compounds that can cause gastrointestinal and other symptoms in pets.
Humidity: Average household humidity is generally suitable. Moderate humidity can help prevent brown leaf tips, especially during dry winter months.
Growth Habit: A slow-growing, upright Dracaena with slender woody canes and dense clusters of glossy green leaves. The 3-2-1 arrangement creates a tiered, architectural look that works well in homes, offices, and larger indoor spaces.
