Plant Care
Light Requirements: Provide bright light with several hours of direct morning sunlight or bright filtered light. Strong light encourages flowering.
Water Requirements: Keep the soil evenly moist but well drained. Allow the surface to dry slightly before watering again, and avoid letting the roots sit in standing water.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced flowering-plant fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer. Reduce feeding during fall and winter.
Soil: Use a rich, well-draining potting mix. Slightly acidic to neutral soil works well.
Temperature: Prefers temperatures around 65–85°F. Protect from cold drafts and freezing temperatures.
Pet Safety: Non-Toxic to cats and dogs.
Humidity: Appreciates moderate to high humidity, particularly when grown indoors.
Growth Habit: An evergreen, branching shrub with glossy green leaves and exceptionally full, double white flowers resembling small roses. Its flowers are highly fragrant.
