Plant Care
Light Requirements: Provide bright light with several hours of direct or filtered sunlight each day. A sunny south- or west-facing window is ideal. Gradually introduce the arrangement to stronger sunlight to prevent burning.
Water Requirements: Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. Water thoroughly once dry and allow excess water to drain completely. Avoid frequent light watering and standing water.
Fertilizer: Feed with a diluted cactus or succulent fertilizer once a month during spring and summer. Reduce or stop fertilizing during fall and winter.
Soil: Use a fast-draining cactus or succulent soil mix. Excellent drainage is essential to prevent root rot.
Temperature: Most varieties prefer temperatures around 60–85°F. Protect from frost, freezing temperatures, and cold drafts.
Pet Safety: Pet safety varies depending on the plants included. Some succulents are non-toxic while others may be toxic or irritating if ingested. Cactus spines can also cause injury.
Humidity: Average household humidity is generally suitable. Avoid consistently humid conditions and provide good airflow.
Growth Habit: A decorative arrangement combining multiple compact cacti and succulents. Depending on the varieties included, plants may grow as rosettes, upright forms, clustered shapes, or trailing varieties.
