Plant Care
Light Requirements: Provide bright, indirect or filtered light. Avoid intense direct sunlight, which can scorch the foliage.
Water Requirements: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the surface to dry slightly between waterings and make sure excess water can drain freely.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced houseplant fertilizer every 2–4 weeks during active growth in spring and summer. Reduce feeding during fall and winter.
Soil: Use a rich, moisture-retentive but well-draining tropical houseplant mix.
Temperature: Prefers warm temperatures around 65–85°F. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below about 60°F.
Pet Safety: Toxic to cats and dogs if ingested.
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity.
Growth Habit: An upright, clumping tropical plant with dramatic arrow-shaped leaves featuring contrasting green and pale markings.
